Our Story

Hi, we’re Clent and Brandi, the travel-loving couple behind Outbound Journey. Our adventure began in Colorado, where Clent was born and raised, and Brandi moved to as a teenager from California. We met as teenagers and spent the next 14 wonderful years in Colorado raising our daughter.

Eventually, life brought us to Houston, Texas, where we climbed the corporate ladder together. However, when COVID-19 hit, it was a wake-up call. We realized life was too short to put off our dreams. So, we decided to embrace a life of full-time travel.

Our Journey So Far

We started our travel journey by camping across the United States, enjoying the natural beauty of the country. From there, we ventured into Mexico and Central America before making our way to South America. Inspired by the beauty of the world, we decided to establish a base in Europe, applying for residency in Portugal. This move allows us to explore Europe more extensively while continuing our adventures worldwide.

We believe that travel doesn’t have to break the bank. Most of our adventures are done on a budget, but we also enjoy splurging on luxury experiences from time to time. Whether it’s exploring bustling cities, hiking in nature, or finding hidden gems off the beaten path, we love to immerse ourselves in unique and authentic experiences.
